The Chorley Road allotments were developed in 2009 on land leased to the Parish Council by West Wycombe Estate.

A total of 25 full and half plots were created; 24 are rented out and one has been given to West Wycombe School .

Volunteers clear allotment for School

Amy Tope and Nutsa Avaliani are currently in Year 6 at West Wycombe School, as ECO Councillors. Their job is to show and help the younger children how to recycle.

When Scottish and Southern Electric contacted us and asked if there were any projects that we would like their volunteer scheme to be involved in we felt that the school’s allotment was the perfect project.

We would like to thank the team from SSE for the hard work, friendliness and interest shown on the day they worked on the Chorley Road allotments. They were perfect ambassadors for the company and obviously enjoyed their day and appreciated how important their volunteering was for the school.

We currently have a short waiting list for plots.
