Application for a listing in the Associations Directory

Thank you for your interest in the site and West Wycombe.

The Council is very keen to promote any and all associations or groups which provide useful or entertaining resources for the Parish and therefore offers a listing here, free of charge, on application. The Council wishes this list to be comprehensive and accurate and therefore asks all associations and groups who meet in and around the Parish, to make themselves known and to ensure that their entry remains up to date. Please note that you do NOT have to have a website or an email address in order to be listed.

The information we need from you is as follows:
Line 1 - The name of your association or group
Line 2 - The purpose of your association - what it does!
Line 3 - When and where your association/group meets
Line 4 - Your name and an email address that people can use to contact you
Line 5 - The URL/website address or your telephone number

Please note that there is a maximum of 60 characters/spaces per line.


If you have a website for your association or group the Parish Council requests that you place a prominent link from your home/index page to this site by copying and pasting the text which appears between the quotation marks:

You may adjust the font and colour to complement your site, but the link must be in a prominent position on your home/index page, be in an appropriately sized, easily read font and it must link back from the site which is featured in the Directory.


If you do not have a website but would like an online presence where others can learn more about your association or group then the Parish Council will allow you to have a page on this site, where our webmaster will upload pictures and text that you supply. The cost for the page is £100.00 per year + VAT. The URL/website address of your page would take the form www.westwycombe.org.uk/yourassociation.html and you can place this address on your correspondence.

Alternatively you may wish to take this opportunity to invest in a site of your own and become www.yourassociation.com. This is an ideal opportunity to invest in your own site and let this site drive leads directly to you. Our webmaster will provide everything you need from domain registration, through design, optimisation and hosting.

Our webmaster will be pleased to discuss all the options open to you in a non-technical way and can create anything from a simple online presence to a full Flash generated experience. One major advantage of having your own URL/domain is that you can have an email address in the form secretary@yourassociation.com, which will enable you to keep your association email separate from your personal email.
